Do you love beer and want to learn more about how hops grow?
Are you a home brewer who wants to try making a wet-hopped beer with fresh hops?

Featuring four acres of first year plants, this hops field has two acres of both Cascade and Columbia hops along with trials of Mt. Hood, Crystal, Newport and Glacier. Our limited harvest this year means there are still lots of hops to be picked.

We are just 3.5 miles west of Cedar Falls, located at 2524 Jepsen Road, Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Saturday, September 23 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Four acres of hops feature two acres of both Cascade and Columbia hop s as well as trials of other varieties.
This is a great opportunity to learn about this unique crop in Iowa agriculture and to also pick fresh hop.
Growers will be available to answer any questions and give tours of the fields throughout the day.
Fresh hops will be available for purchase.
